I knew the importance of working hard and I was not afraid to provide for my family but living pay cheque to pay cheque was stressful. Then I bought a franchise; don’t get me wrong the money was good but I felt stuck, I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. I did not like working 7 days a week. It was hard, scheduling my employees, and managing day to day sales. It was overwhelming to say the least. Some days I did not want to get out of bed, I had no time for family or friends or any vacations. What I was doing was not aligned with my vision or my family's goals. I wanted to impact the world and leave it a better place. But I was scared. Scared of learning new skills. TODAY, I know I did the right decision because I had an open mind. A friend told me about a company impacting peoples' lives. Now, I am making my own schedule, paying myself what I am worth, having time with my family and friends and traveling around the world with my wife Lynne and our daughter Amanda. This is how it is supposed to be. No more living pay cheque to pay cheque for me. I am excited to get up every morning because I know I am about to impact someone's life, I could never do that before. What I love is that many of our Associates have become our closest friends. A small town with the population of 3000. I met my husband Mike at the age of 15 and we married when I was 19. We have 3 kids, and we are grandparents to 4 wonderful grandchildren. So, at a young age of 19, I was already married and an owner of a franchise business. I quickly learned that it took hard work, long hours and was stressful, especially when the kids came along. After 13 years of the business owning me, I wanted to claim my life and health back. My husband and I had no life, we couldn’t travel, and I felt like I lived in a hamster wheel. Day in and day out doing the same thing. Things had to change as my health was also being compromised. I couldn’t sleep, had trouble to focus, and because of my genetic disorder, I couldn’t walk 85 feet to the end of my driveway to get the mail out of my mailbox. We decided to sell the business and retire. Financially, we were set but after 5 years, we missed working and being among people and we knew that we wanted more. I also wanted to find something that my husband and I could work together, to impact the world and leave it a better place. A business came at a time when I needed it most. I kept an open mind and explored the information. The company seemed to align with my goals and vision form my future and those of my family. The science was real, patented and had 43 peer reviews. I had nothing to lose. I tried the products and looked into the business. I also knew that I would have to learn new skills. I was excited and ready for a career change. Am I ever glad I did! It changed my life. The products have helped me improve my ability to do what I need to do on a daily basis. The business gave me the ability to change other people’s lives as it did for me. I now lead an active life, with my husband, my kids, and grandchildren where it could have been different today. I now get to pay it forward to those in need, to empower people to achieve success with significance and leave a legacy. My husband and I get to travel the world to beautiful destinations and hang out with the most amazing people that our part of my life and most of all, I get the freedom to be me. Me overcoming obstacles, challenges, and pain. I’m in complete control of how I want to live the rest of my life, making my dreams along with other people’s dreams a reality with the people I love, and I am totally committed to their success and their achievements.
